Uttarakhand Home Guard Recruitment 2023: Uttarakhand (UK) Government is planning to hire several women for the role of home guards.
Starting from August 3, the Uttarakhand Home Guard Department will start recruiting 320 female home guards and 10 unit commanders.
Kewal Khurana, the Commandant General of the Home Guard, has provided this information. On the Home Guard Foundation Day, Khurana was informed, CM Pushkar Dhami had announced these positions.
The UK government has now given its approval. After recruitment, a women’s platoon of the home guard would be established for the first time in ten districts of Uttarakhand.
There will be two stages to their hiring process. Uttarakhand Home Guard Recruitment will take place in Tehri, Pauri, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar during the initial phase. The second phase of hiring will take place in Champawat, Pithoragarh, and Rudraprayag.

UK Police Home Guard Bharti 2023 Selection Process
Now, there is no longer a written exam requirement for recruiting Home Guard members. The final merit list will be created in accordance with reservation regulations using the total of the physical efficiency marks and the weighted marks assigned for the relevant category.
The physical efficiency test will start on September 1 in each district of the first phase. This test will be worth 30 points. The total score for the test will be 60 points. The hiring process will be completed by the first week of October.

Age limit
The Women Home Guard’s minimum age requirement is 18 years old, while the highest age limit is 40. A 10th grade education would be the absolute minimum.
10 points will be awarded for educational achievement, five points at most for any other credentials, such as NCC, five points for athletic prowess, five points for driving prowess, and five points for qualifying family members of both paid and unpaid house guards.

Height: Hills 152 centimeters, ST 147 centimeters, Others 147 centimeters.
Weight: Minimum 45 kilograms.
